Anyone know of a good source for metric front end kits? Mainly triple trees with about 5-10 degrees more rake? I'm thinking about trying to go with a chopper look.... Any experience on frame mods to do the same (I've heard you can cut and bend the frame just behind the triple tree, weld in a wedge, and put longer fork tubes on.....).
I think my longterm goal is to chop the front end, remove the springs and convert to a hardtail, and use the bike for running around town/bar hopping..... Then maybe I'll bet a bigger one for highway cruising (the new Bonneville America is looking really good......)
